John Barron Richards may have been a resident of the Jewish Consumptive Relief Society in Colorado. They were known for treating those with tuberculosis. Ella’s family had just left Douglas WY for MO, after burying two infant daughters during the 1918 Spanish Flu.
I contacted JCRS to find out more, but JBR was not found in their archives.
